    Indeed .
Brexit has caused a huge shift with hard left labour supporters cheering on the hard right wingers like the very strange Ree Smog .
Next election the balance will be redressed as Brexit won't be an issue and scrutiny of everyday issues like schools ,nhs, transport will be intense , and it's not pretty reading for the Tories.

Anna Soubry is no longer a MP. The World is a better place already.

Brexit was a major factor and Labour ( through divided opinion in the Party) gave the impression that they were either dithering on the issue or even in favour of remaining - a fatal mistake when the people had already made it clear how they wanted the issue to go.

As discussed on here before, of course, Corbyn was a big factor. A republican with sympathy for terrorists will never be PM in the UK and I find it strange that the party would maintain someone like that as leader for the election.

The result was good for anyone fed up with Brexit, anyone who runs a business and anyone who is fed up of Parliament doing their own thing and not listening to the people.

    Agreed.

I did think it would be a conservative majority but i didn't think it would be so large.

Yes, when you think about it Bore-aris has done for the Labour Party what it couldn't do for itself. The left wing was too entrenched and the moderates have never stood a chance as long ago as since Ed Miliband stabbed his brother David in the back then made way for Corbyn by giving the left wing extremists more power.

That and the fact that the S.N.P. has replaced Labour in Scotland has made it a hard struggle for the genuine moderates and I can't help thinking that if David Miliband had returned or if Kier Starmer had been leader the result would have been very much closer
