Shocking performance, almost as shocking as the knee jerk reaction from some supporters, especially in the Lower Holte.
Heaton??? He’s been our only saving grace, can’t believe he has come in for some on here. Without Heaton, we’d already be below Watford.
DS? Well he’d better have a plan B, and JT had better start earning his money, cos the defence is sh1t. We have to go 3 at the back (as regularly mentioned on here) and more than 1 upfront (also mentioned on here, often). All this mythical 433 bollox, we only ever play 1 up top. Yesterday we had 2 strikers for the 1st time, albeit for 30 mins, and actually looked like we had half a plan, of sorts.
Surprise surprise, we come out for the second half and concede straight away. The management must be telling them TOO much at half time, as the players are clearly still trying to process it all when they come out for the 2nd half.
We have an outfield squad of inconsistent performers, most are one-trick ponies, that only deliver 1 in 10. Some people were/are too wrapped up in the “Glory of promotion” to realise how sh1t and lucky we were to get promoted.
Don’t worry Dave, I’d say there’ll be plenty of tickets available from January onwards, judging by the exodus just after half time yesterday.
Yes good point on the tickets. Just what is going on. Yesterday sold out but on TV swaithes of empty seats. Do these belong to the fickle and new season ticket holders who only snapped seats to watch the big teams and when it comes to the likes of Southampton cannot be bothered as it was on TV.
I saw that on the official site that Norwich was sold out then tickets available then sold out then tickets so i tried and with ease snapped up 2. Strange but are people now giving back tickets?

The Nowich thing was that they sent back half of the allowcation mate (upper tier in the Witton Lane End now for Villa). Add to that, some STH selling their tickets back to the club, hour by hour.
There were empty seats in the Trinity (opposite the TV cameras), which you may well be correct mate regarding STHs. Twas also trhe last xmas shopping day, so for some they chose to shop, but on the hour, loads left. It's their choice I suppose, they pays their money. Still makes em tw@s in my book.
I saw tickets up in the upper tier and thought villa had made a mistake putting us in with away fans but i suppose the fact there are no trains or busses Boxing day takes the attraction and effort out to get to VP just not worth it especially those coming from Norwich A hellish place to get the best of times but the tickets being made available are in every area of the ground. Think your right, people selling back seats. I got 2 together in T block north stand near the front. Delighted with that purchase. Just hope its worth it. Could they not have put some villa specials on??
That was painful to watch and I agree Heaton has been great for us, a few on Twitter have sent their Norwich tickets back for a refund. Leaving in droves is not supporting a team, players worked hard to win tussles in the middle of the park I thought and at 4-4-2 we started to have a better shape but without forcing a single save. If we don't shape up in the next couple of games I think our desire to keep Jack will be tested.
