Seriously this is the type of game we need to go for the jugular if we have any hopes for promotion.
Well one decent chance for Notts really with a set piece cross into the box that went across the face of goal that Wootton or Dennis could have got on the end of leaves it at 0-0. It’s been a bit sloppy and sluggish at times on a bobbly and heavy pitch.
Maidenhead are far more attacking as the home side than they were at Meadow Lane as would be expected, and have created a few chances and were looking the more likely to score towards the end of the half.
It’s been a bit similar to the Solihull first half in terms of chances created but in the second half I think we need to go for it a bit more if we are to get a good result out of this game. I think if we were to score first then it could open the game up for maybe two goals a bit like the game at Meadow Lane in which we could put it to bed. Carry on as we have done first half and it might end up a draw.
Certainly no classic by any stretch of the imagination.

It's sounding to me like Maidenhead's manager has learned from last Saturday's defeat, as for Ardley... we'll see.
Hopefully this is one of those games that we grind out the points against the flow. All successful teams do that from time to time.
Yet again Ardley is being outclassed tactically. Making a very poor team look good.
Dennis and Osborne off, Tyson and Thomas on, commentators think it's to introduce speed - but is it speed that's lacking?
