A team with no pace and too many player either too old or just not at the level required for this division and this has been an ongoing issue over a considerable period. Whatever happen's, there is a huge job in replacing the older end of our squad and I like most of you on here shudder to think who we are going to recruit as the inevitable need to replace becomes obvious even to the brain dead. If other teams can manage to get better players why can't we? I know ever team makes mistakes on bringing in "duds" , but we seem to have become expert at this and you all know which signings fall into this category. I just don't understand the mentality; If you know you can potentially stay in the richest league in the world, why not at least attempt to do that purely for the income stream if nothing else. Once you are out of the Premier league it's a whole different situation and dam hard to get back into. It does I suppose pose the question "what is the purpose of BFC" if it's not to try to stay in the highest league it can be in and try to entertain it's ever loving supporters?
Watch Lowton on MOD or whatever. Jesus Christ, he just has to go. Gibson did not feature, Vydra missed a sitter and Wells is on fire at QPR. Villa want Hart by all accounts, we need a ready to go right back and another option for Cork.

WTF are our recruitment team doing?

BT, they are collecting their wages!! If we don't sign some players of significant quality I think the natives will become more than restless!!!

I can't understand why we are not moving heaven and earth to shift the dead legs and bring in a couple of players who might actually get a phooking game.

Even if by some miracle we are looking at bringing in players this window, we won't move until the last couple of days, we never do. The fact that we could be turning out a stronger team against Chelsea, Leicester and United is of no concern to our Board, in the unlikely event they do decide to spend some money, it won't be until after those three games. Think of the wages they can save by putting off any signings for another three weeks.

Sadly I can only think our board is thinking like this:
S D's plan which the board know is ''keep the ball in your opponents half, get it and keep it there, some goals we going to score ,some we will fail to do so, if we have a 50/50 chance then we can score points, keeping us about halfway in the table and therefore stay in the Premiership.'' The board is happy, S D is happy, fans will be happy, wages kept low,no rush to buy players ,in fact no need! No special talent or skills needed, we just need luck! That must be plan 'A' and plan 'B' in a nutshell.

The problem is when the 'snowball', rolling down the hill, gathers pace its very hard to stop it !

We need a "ready to go" right back NOW.

We also need a "ready to go" creative, incisive central midfielder NOW.

If we can recruit them NOW we have a chance of avoiding the drop. If we don't it's back to the Championship and that would be a tragedy given how long it's taken us to get back to playing in top flight football.
