They bought the world's most expensive defender. If that's not similar to what Chelsea or City would do, I don't know what is.

I agree that Liverpool haven't bought their way to success to the same degree (and they haven't had a lot of success over the past two, even three decades apart from a few exceptions), but let's not pretend that they aren't spending to get to where they are at.

I do like Liverpool more than a lot of other clubs. I think they are similar to us in many ways, and their manager is admirable.

At the same time, they are starting to remind of Man Utd when I hated them the most. Their fans are, it seems to me, getting cocky and arrogant, and even during this incredible run they're on Klopp still seems to have a go at the referee constantly.

Thats the main reason i cant stand Liverpool the sheer smugness and arrogance, you only have to go on other forums to read the rubbish they come out with as if they are best team ever to have touched a football. Plus they might be top of the league but they hardly play amazing football almost every win this season has been boring 1-0 or 2-1 wins The real class sides win games heavily and in style.

Yes but what I was referring to as opposed to the likes of Citeh and Chelski, Liverpool have generated transfer funds out of earned income. They haven't a billionaire Russian Mogal or the backing of oil rich Arabs to shell out extra millions at a whim.

Had we continued the start we had under K.K. first time and to a slightly lesser extent, Sir Bobby then we would now have a world wide following as well as a world wide income and thus be able to pay genuinely earned the sort of money Liverpool can pay.

I think you're on a hiding to nothing there. They are a very classy side and fully deserve their success for having planned and invested in their manager and team to build to where they are now. It's not so long ago they were blowing wads of cash and getting nowhere but they've done it and hats off from me.

Yes I think it's great what they have done
I like watching them play and it's better than a Manchester team winning it or chelsea
