.....you're both about the same age aren't you? That's why I made the mistake...

I remember thinking it was an absolute treat to see one of Kirk's films at the old style pictures in Wakey, back in the mid 70s.
Who remembers this comedy western then, its called Cactus Jack and a young unknown Arnie Schwarzy was in it as well.

A woman who lives on Black Carr Road at Wickersley is about 104. She walks all over at a good pace, lives on her own and does all her own gardening, housework the lot. No carers or home help. An incredible Woman.

R.I.P. Kirk Douglas a true great of Hollywood.

Not sure that’s wise to put on a message board these days tbh

Really toppy? There's about 100 houses on Black Carr road pal and the average age of all residents must be 70 lol. She's survived 2 World Wars pal so a few scumbags wont be that much of a threat plus they tend to be reyt thick f@ckers so would probably struggle to find their own b0llox let alone 1 house where a centurion lives pal, plus she only looks 83.

Happy for post to be deleted though if others agree....

As for Kirk, what a great actor he was and a fantastic age to reach before passing. RIP.
Thanks, Brin and Roly. I've just found the site where it's up for auction at the end of the month

    https://www.markjenkinson.co.uk/auct...shire-%7C-2940

The price guide suggests the area isn't exactly on the rise and that a substantial amount of work needs doing...

Heres a clip/trailer of the film I was talking about starring Kirk Douglas, which I saw at the pictures on the same day as 007 Moonraker (it was a double header btw, 2 films for the price of 1 lol). But it still keeps its original working title of The Villain in the Us, and we know it as Cactus Jack.
Apparently he always played a baddie, and this slapstick comedy western was a big shift for him at the time and he obviously didnt mind taking the mick out of himself in doing it.
