Yes looking forward to seeing what he can do. His 'reel' is impressive in terms of shooting power and accuracy and running on to passes. At the end of games that could be a very important factor against teams who are tiring and opening up. Pablo could have a field day with that option Open to him

I think JKA will be great for us.... if he plays.
A physical striker with kill instincts will score 2 goals a game with this squad. They give a physical striker lots of chances. There are times when Harrison, Costa, Alioski or even Pablo are a little off on their final pass but a an aggressive striker with instincts will chase those balls down and cause havoc. he will score.
Bamfords an excellent player off the ball. Just does not have the killer streak to go get the ball and put it in the net.
Dont care if Gutsy is 20 stone, as long as he can hit the onion bag reguarly.
And not the cheese n onion bag.
Viduka and yeboah weren't exactly slim but they knew where the net was.
And don't forget Tomas Brolin, he wasn't exactly slim and he was... err...hmmm... OK lets forget Tomas![]()
According to all reliable sources it looks like he's not even going to make the bench tomorrow. I can understand MB's point about him not being match fit, but FFS, if the player we have on the pitch is failing abjectly to take chances, so fkn what if the player who replaces him can only run for 20 or 30 minutes??? To have no option to try something different if Plan A is failing (again.......) seems to me to be just plain obtuse. My dad used to call it 'cutting off your nose to spite your own face'
Hearing the same taff, depending on what you read it could be another 2/3 weeks before he is anywhere near..and then you are hoping/praying he hits the ground running and starts scoring goals despite only having played 3 games in 8 months.
A big gamble for a problem that has been evident for a while now.
