Yesterday tea-tme , Radio DeeDah reported a shooting on Clough Rd. , Rotherham. I assumed that was the Masbro' "Clough Rd." , but it might not be. Not seen or heard anything related yesterday, or at 2.45 this morning either

Brin it was a mixing process at an industrial premises that caused the noise this morning nothing to be alarmed about.

Took my granddaughter to school this morning. Teacher was handing letters out to parents.
One parent was gobsmacked she went omg is the child ok?
I glanced at the letter the teacher handed out and it was titled
    Children scooting on school road.
I had a grin to myself as I realised she had misread the paper
whilst the teacher started to explain to the blonde lady.
Btw this is not one of grist story's. It actually happened

In an earlier police statement Inspector Corner ( of the yard) said " we would like to make it clear that the bang that woke up half of Rotherham wasn't Brin dropping his wallet"

I await the usual humorous banter.....
Was it Mrs Brin running the cardis over the washboard and through the mangle?

CAM, you might have something there, as I found loads of broken buttons on the floor this morning. She hasn't mentioned anything yet though....
