    Easy mate.
    For every kg of pork
    100gms curing salt.
    100gms sugar.
    Put in polly bag.
    Put in container in fridge
Turn every day for 5 days.
    Drain liquid off
    Rinse and dry.
    Slice when needed.
Keeps for weeks and none off that white snotty residue in frying pan.

Where we shop here, the supermarket has empty shelves when it comes to toilet rolls, cleaning fluids etc. Funny thing is, right next door there's a Home Depot (mega DIY store) that has enough bog rolls to build a full size replica of the Empire State Building and equally as much cleaning supplies.

Preparing your ingredients and cooking is one thing but I don't know anyone who makes their own bacon and butter, bit too time-consuming for most.

When they are stocked up with that lot.
How are they going to eat it?

Why are people panic buying toilet rolls?
Typical symptoms, which I understand are similar to flu, doesn't include rushing to the toilet in my experience .

Tissues then fair enough...those with balm on are useful

It's bizarre! I can guarantee that if 'the end of the world is nigh' having something soft and gentle to wipe my arse on is a long way down, in fact not even on my priority list.

No nor do I but I do know some who grow there own veg and never buy frozen food (except ice cream) btw I sometimes make my own ice cream, as far as I see it making your own bacon making your own ice cream or growing your own veg is the same thing it’s time consuming and it’s your own choice.

Making pork loins into bacon wouldn’t work for me because I prefer them roasted and cut for my pork sandwich’s (yum)

Now days if you can go without using a microwave you need a pat on the back, so much microwave meals and shortcuts ffs I even saw pre made mash potatoes and pre chopped carrots in Tesco how lazy can you get

    Butter takes 10 mins.
    Put double cream in mixer.
    Whisk until it splits
    Butter left as solids.
    Butter milk left for baking..

Don't none of you lot cook etc?
