'Generally an unruly mob of pissheads' I don't think that description fits us 'generally' can't remember the last time I saw such a mob.Just like in all aspects in life just the few spoiling it for the many.

    Booze and bog rolls!

I’m not a fan of Boris generally but I cannot criticise him now; surely he is just trying to follow medical and scientific advice. The point of the current strategy is to flatten out the possible peak of cases. If the plan doesn’t work it won’t necessarily be the government’s fault but those people who have ignored the advice. Also, I don’t want to live in a country like China and I don’t believe a word their government says.

    I couldn’t agree more.

We have a massive “Chav” type lowlife amongst our society and a “me,me,me” generation of under 40’s especially.

The government have been slower than they could’ve been but in truth......EVERY economy is worried it’ll kick down first and so they hold off.

I make my own mind up......I went into isolation 10 days ago and have been in 99% lockdown.

You don’t need a government to flick a switch in your own head.

I’m with Al.......we have a massive “CHAV” class underbelly in this country.

I have a daughter who specialises in hooking up with this sort of bloke!

The crowd scenes at Stourbridge Tesco yesterday underlined this......hundreds of fat, scruffy, tattooed morons and the blokes were no better.

Pushing and shoving and shouting obscenities with trolleys bursting with non essential items.

If you live in some tranquil spot unaffected by this mentality of “Houseplant” then good for you but it’s the norm around this way.

Don't disagree we have our share of chavs there was one behind me the supermarket today. But I've spent a lot of time pretty much living in 3 of our neighbouring countries and they too have similar problems. Without a doubt scariest place I've been for a train ride is Naples. More ner do wells than I have ever seen in a small space.

btw what is a Houseplant metality?

A very difficult situation for the government over this virus. Faith was put in the country to heed the warnings that the government were outlining but, unfortunately, some of the public are ignoring the advice so we now all accept that a lockdown is probably the only option available to the government now.

    A houseplant hasn’t got a brain.

I’m surprised you haven’t heard the term previously.

What about the Venus Flytrap? Now that's what I call a clever plant.
