I fail to understand why all the SPFL leagues cannot be finished this season no matter how long it takes. There is no guarantee that the Champions League and Europa League matches next season will start on time or at all.
In my opinion UEFA should scrap next season’s Champions League and Europe League which will allow all the European Football Leagues for this season to be played to a finish no matter how long it takes which might be sooner than you think.
If there is sufficient time left a truncated version of the leagues could be played next season will teams only playing each other home and away once resulting in 22 games in the Premier League and 18 games in the Championship.
SKY are currently experiencing a lot of lost revenue as a result of SKY sports customers suspending their subscriptions which will result in less money for the top football clubs in Europe.
