When this is all over and provided of course that we emerge from this emergency unscathed I will be taking Mrs Outwood and myself off on a special holiday. Since our last holiday in January 2019 Mrs Outwood has gone through two major surgeries and worked through her post-op recoveries each time. Whichever destination we choose it will involve as part of the itinerary a rail trip we have not previously undertaken. Canada a country we love is one candidate. We have always wanted a journey on the Rocky Mountaineer. When we first went to Canada back in 1994 we were both still young and fit enough to go horse riding but I don’t think with the best will in the World we could manage that now. The other country we are considering is South Africa and a rail tour of its hinterland ending in Cape Town. Africa is a Continent we have yet to visit and would love to explore.

Go for it Outwood, one or the other, or both, you know what they say, this isn't a rehearsal.

I'm now going to have to make sure Mrs S doesn't read this, she's after a rail trip in Canada as well. Me, can't be bothered, I'll be happy with a week on the stunning Northumberland coast.

Oh! no need to go anywhere maybe the beach nearby, it's a nice 24 C outside. It could be that we don't see anymore rain until late October?
