Ashley would be over the moon with a transfer ban, It would be a punishment for our fans.

anyone know if businesses have to repay the govt later ? like self employed people do? as in its just a loan from the govt to tide them over until they are earning money again.

and they shouldn't have any money for transfers if they didn't have enough to cover staff wages.
I run my own business and have six staff working for me I am self employed. My company is Ltd and I am a director.
I have been shafted by the government
    .
I can’t work and have had to furlough my staff , (who are great lads)
I have to pay their wages (80% But would have liked to pay it all ) until I can start to claim their wages back the HMRC portal is not up and running they are hoping for the end of the month
    .
So by the time I can start to claim any money back I will have paid out probably five weeks wages x 6
All without any money coming in and not being able to claim any money myself.

So in answer to your question I can claim for my furloughed employee’s quite rightly so.
But being self employed I get sweet FA.

We will ALL have to pay it back. Every last one of us!!
There will be massive tax rises I can see v.a.t. Going up to 25%.
I guess us self employed will be asked/made to help out !!!!!!

There is a huge difference between my company and NUFC who make millions (Ashley took out £45m? The other year?)

As I said in previous post it is a question of morals

But we should also be looking at companies like virgi n Atlantic who earn billions and pay no tax in the u.k. who’s owner was the first to ask for a bail out.

    MORALS !

Good. I am fed up with the good name of our club being dragged through the mud because of this man. If fans feel hard done by if the club can't sign players I will be over the moon. I feel hard done by that they stand by and allow him to do what he does and just moan without having a backbone to stand up to him.

    Cheers zip
It annoys me I’ve had people tell me I should make up the rest of my lads wages (they think it’s ok you get it back Boris will pay)
it’s worrying seeing nearly 3k a week disappointing from your bank account.
My next door neighbour is on a massive party and said I’m getting paid to sit at home and get pissed what’s not to like?.
He can’t see there’s no such thing as a free lunch and he will end up paying it back.

This could end up nearly bankrupting the country and putting us all in recession.

Anyhoo....time too slap my face... I’m still alive.. Sun is shining ...time to open a bottle of savignion blanc

He's certainly right to get the conversation started but i also agree he'd of stayed silent had it been manure.

I dont think he would have stayed quiet. He is on TV a lot with Carragher and Carragher layed into Liverpool when they did it. I think Neville would have done the same.
