An even better scenario would see these multi millionaire footballers donate summat to the struggling football clubs/NHS/good causes etc so they can survive through these times.

Your every day average person is experiencing financial hardship, uncertainty and various worries. Trouble is that we, the general public have largely contributed to high earning sportspeople by paying for Sky/BT/pay per views. Maybe in the midst of this pandemic people will wake up and realise how ridiculously stupid money has got in big time sports and have a re-think about what they're contributing to fund this madness. I know I have. My subscription to Skyspooarts is cancelled and won't be renewed. I'm actually quite disgusted with myself for paying for it for far too long, especially with the way I've felt about the game in the last few years.
    100% agree pass
You will however have to keep your eye on Sky as they will automatically "switch you back on" when sport resumes [that's assuming you applied to "suspend" your sports subscription]

Not missed football one bit since this started and to be fair this situation is showing up some clubs and some players for what they really are, a bunch of money grabbing tw4ts who are not bothered about anything or anybody other than themselves!
It does seem like it's just the London based Premier league clubs that are the worst in this area though!

It meks me laugh when players at some clubs are being praised for "deferring" their wages, ie they will be paid in full in a few months.
    Watford players are the latest.
I'm certain they won't be going on Universal Credit in the meantime.

What a great time to invite the murderous crown prince of Saudi Arabia to move in at Newcastle.
Get rid of Ashley and get someone a hundred times worse.
You wouldn't think it possible. Give me Chien every time.
I wonder if he'll leave his staff on furlough.
It's a disgrace the way these oil states can buy their way in to top level sport.
I went to visit my step daughter in Dubai and hated every minute of it.
I see Mezit Ozul has refused to take a pay cut.
Sky Sports cancelled and doubt I'll sign up again.
