I am 65 this year, who knows how long I have left?
Something will kill me eventually, it might be tomorrow it might be twenty years from now but something will as sure as night follows day.
But while i am OK I intend to enjoy life and not make myself a nervous wreck worrying about what I might or might not get.
You would never cross a road, get in a car or plane, have a drink, have *** or anything.
Fck that, life is for living.
No matter how far you jog, cycle, swim, no matter what food and drink you avoid, you are going to die.

Just luck of the draw. I have spoken to doctors about it, some say it works others say it doesn't. My mate who had it spent three days in bed afterwards, i wondered why he wasn't in the pub.
No cure for a virus Mick, not even a common cold.
If you go to your GP you will see a sign on the wall, if you are suffering from a cold or flu stay at home, keep warm and drink plenty of fluids.
Nothing at all that they can do for it mate.
Check your facts like I did before replying Des.......many viruses have been defeated by vaccine such as Smallpox.

It’s antibiotics that can’t cure a cold or a virus.

It’s HOW you die that matters Des.

I’ve watched many people die like my mother in law for example.

Sat on her a r s e from 50 onwards and spent the day eating what she wanted and watching Countdown and any other s h I t on TV.

Suddenly struck down by bad heath in her 70’s and was all “woe is me” about her “bad luck”.

My dad died a terrible painful and self inflicted death from a ruptured aorta at 67 due to a 40 a day smoking habit.

I see lots of obese and averagely fat adults and kids around me and at Albion matches all stuffing their faces when clearly not hungry.

    People don’t get it.

Life is all about how good you feel on a daily basis and I’d rather feel fit and healthy and strong and able to still outrun most people 35-40 years younger than me due to my personal pride and discipline over the last 38 years since I took up running.

I accept ill die but I’d rather die at 90 having been very fit for 89 years than die at 80 having had diabetes and various other self inflicted illnesses that have made my last 20 years a misery.

    It’s about daily quality.

I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2. Only person to blame me. I ate too much and didn't exercise enough from about 35 to 55.

Not having a go at you personally Mick. Exercising is good for you and can be great fun in moderation.
I am just saying it won't make you live longer. You only have to see how many footballers have died before their time including our own Cyrille Regis. How about Lillian Board, super fit athlete dead at 21.
Churchill on the other hand a bottle of scotch a day, i don't think he was ever sober, and a big cigar stuck in his mouth, lived to be over 90.
A Chinese doctor has said that the human heart is good for so many beats and that's it. Making it go faster won't make it last any longer.

I thought you could reverse Type 2 923?

I have. Went onto a 800 calorie a day diet for 2 months end of 2018 and as told in Jan 2019 I was in remission. I'm 2 stone lighter than I was 10 years ago.

That it can be reversed (not cured) is fairly recent thinking. I followed Dr Michael Mosley advice.

Best advice don't get it in the first place.

Surely these are the exceptions that prove the rule? The human heart is only good for so many beats........utter garbage, that's a bit like saying your feet are only good for so many steps.
