Cayton has called it spot on for me, with just one exception. I saw enough in Lindsey, before his family issues, to suggest that there is a quality midfielder in there.

Based on his performances prior to his family issues Cayton, I'd say he was the closest Millers player I'd seen to Lee Frecklington since Frecks left. Now, I openly admit, that may be wishful thinking.

    I saw:

    Energy
Niggle (I like that in a player)
    Eye for a pass
He was vocal, he cajoled others.

The only thing we didnt see were goals. But his record in Scotland suggests he knows where the net is.

Theres a player there, trust me mate.

    👍

I agree. From the (admittedly limited) games I saw before his kid's illness, and from comments of reliable posters on here, it seemed that Lindsey was a standout player. Definately a keeper and see how he gets on in higher league if we go up

I can’t keep up with what’s happening tbh, when did the billionaire take over?

Good point miller , take a look at the three clubs who currently occupy the bottom 3 places in the championship and then take a look at the final league table from last season in league one .

All three of us invested in our squads last summer and in my opinion all three of us made it more difficult for ourselves by doing so , especially ourselves and Luton Town .

It maybe more astute to go with the majority of what you have and just bring a couple in within budget .

The championship may well come more towards Rotherham when any new season begins with the financial implications for some of these big clubs who before the pandemic were right on the line financially .

A bit of continuity might be the smart play , the championship isn't going to be the beast it was before this pandemic in my opinion .

All this positive chatter makes me want to go down to the nys on Thursday and let off some red flares.
If I did I'd make sure I'm not within 10m of anyone and have a portable fire extinguisher with me.

Please don't try this at home it's just a dream scenario

True grumpy potential is there but can he develop it? From what I have seen his family problems have stalled his progress

No point going up to the championship to struggle again all season. When this season was halted we didn't even look a league 1 promotion side. We were missing Ihiewke & Barlaser but you can't rely on just 2 players. I'd say 4 or 5 signings to improve the side would give the side some fresh impetus.

Lindsay he's one of my boys along with Lamy. I just see something in them. Need a manager to give them the belief.
