But he is Damn right! they should all Be turning up. They are allowing the Premier league to start, they are allowing garden centres to open. I can’t for the life in me understand why a suitable venue, other than the House of Commons Cant he found in England I that can’t be used to accommodate 600 people sat 2metres apart! They are expecting folk to drive to work, they can do the same. Macdonalds are open, Costa the same.... those ******** aren’t large enough to distance 2foot apart, let alone two metres.....yet they are allowing it.....
too many of them will be at the Tennis and Golf club to be ar$ed I suspect

Surprise. surprise, the Leader of the House, Jacob Rees Mogg, is now seeking to change the rules to allow more MP's to sit in the House. Social distancing my arse.
How many solutions has Leer Dammer put forward? Instead of picking bones out of ill advice he should be offering solutions.

Here's one suggestion for Rees Mogg to consider

Use the ExCel centre Nightingale Hospital [4000 bed capacity] to get all the Mps together
& it's in London & not being used
They may have to sit on office chairs, but needs must

It's not Starmer's job Ponte. The role of the Opposition in our parliamentary system is to hold the Government to account by scrutinising their actions. It is not a wartime Govt of National Unity.
Johnson has plotted to get the PM job all his career. Now is his time to step up to the plate and make the decisions, be the leader. He always hides behind the phrase, "We follow the science" to duck responsibility like he is doing now with the Care Home tragedy. The scientists advise, the politicians make the policy. If he disagreed with the advice in early March that Care Homes were unlikely to be affected by CV19 he should have sed, "That's b0ll0cks, course they are".
It's all a No10 device to deflect attention from the issue by muddying the waters. Starmer quoted the advice, Johnson said he was wrong saying it didn't exist, Starmer wrote to him quoting the advice from the document, Johnson says he stands by his comment. I know who I believe.

I can't criticise the Govt for setting up the eight Nightingale Hospitals because at the time it looked like the outbreak was going t1ts up big time. What I find less appealing is the clearance of hospital beds moving out old people into Care Homes with no CV19 Test seeding the outbreak in Care Homes and then crowing at the graphs showing how much spare capacity we have in hospitals.
All these spare beds should now be used to clear up all the waiting list backlog for routine elective surgery and other treatments rather than mothballing the Nightingale Hospitals and quietly closing them when attention is elsewhere.
