I doubt many have paid £25.
Bang on ........... I can offer WTF11 the opportunity to have his image on my paid seat if he wishes but I'd preferred him to have decent shoes on ...............

    Side profile ok ?

Beyond the magnificent show of support this is creating an alternative revenue scheme for the club at a time when they’ve dropped around £2.5m from the loss of fans in the last five home games. It started off as one of many ideas fans suggested and the club listened and it took off ....... raised a fair few quid for the Development squad too.

At £25 a pop, that’s £375,000 that Leeds have just made. I'm hearing there are going to be many more by the time Leeds get set to play their first home game a week on Saturday against Fulham...............

Just 'Two' wins will put Leeds on the brink of the PL & give the 15,000+ Crowdie owners something to cheer about across the lands/seas.

I refer you to your own post (#11) which supported the assertion that most would be the result of ST holders taking up the option, so much less than the £375,000 is likely to be generated (and as for magnificent show of support, if they already have a season, just what is magnificent about supply a photo and leaving the rest to the club?).

Not sure if I was to have the great good fortune to be a Leeds 1st team player (yeah, as if!) that a bunch of cardboard cut-outs and a crowd noise that simply can't replicate the real thing would be any better than an empty stadium that at least would be honest.

Took the second option on my ST just now and may provide a picture of one of my dogs (they both support Leeds as they are clever dogs: border collies) if the crowdie thing isn't too painful.

22,500 season ticket holders at ER - not all chose the image option, many who did also donated an extra £25 simply to help the club like the many 'Debentures' who stumped up serious money years ago when the club nearly folded............
The idea was first mooted to stop fan's congregating outside ER.

Several people I know have bought crowdies with pictures of their past loved ones so they'll be in attendance in spirit.
Two of my kids gave the club £50 and don't go that often - it's called personal choice.
    FFS - it's supporting your club !

Support the club by all means (and by what right do you think that despite not having your undoubted resources, I havent stumped up a contribution?), but not through some half-baked synthetic nonsense that does f00k all for the players but panders to those who favour "gestures".

So of the 22,000 season ticket holders, lets say 80% sign up for their cardboard cut out, thats over 16,000, meaning that at the current standing, hardly a penny piece will have been added to the clubs bank account.

Donate by all means, and yes i have. Pretend that having cardboard cutouts of Mickey Mouse, Hitler or Margaret Thatcher (all rumoured to be on their way to ER) is "supporting the club" is a delusion.

Refunds not taken have stayed within the club - Refunds given have gone out of the club.

I with others were involved in recent club season ticket refunds including under Gary Monk when the club refunded 25% of the cost of supporters' season tickets after they failed to make the Championship playoff places................

I and others were asked again regarding refunds this season and it was agreed that full refunds would be given for remaining games with other options too which included options on offer in the Euro leagues obtained from FSE (Football Supporters Europe) data base culminating in (https://www.leedsunited.com/seasonticketrebate
Regardless of my FSA (Football Supporters Association) role my two younger kids both work p/t (one with horses & one respraying boat hulls) and they wanted to help our club (their club) with a donation from their employment earnings, okay, end of.

I have also helped and obtained full reimbursement for many friends in Leeds and many Euro exiles who had booked in advance with regard to transport, hotels deposits etc ....... none are mugs I can assure you and most have now got a Crowdie too.

It's great that you chipped in with a donation- well done !
