To get away from the missus for a couple of hours?
F u c k me.......am I missing something!?
Try reading what people write and stop rushing to reply based on what you think you’ve read.
I thought my post made it perfectly clear I’ve got no time for this sort of nonsense.
I totally agree with your point, people feel compelled due to the adverse reaction they’d receive in the media.
I’m fed up of the whole bandwagon regarding race.........it’s always the blacks being hard done by if you listen to a lot of the Liberal Elite etc.........!
Is the slogan “Black lives matter” not borderline racist because it sort of implies that white lives aren’t?
My point was that if you are going to have a protest about police brutality ( which the Floyd case clearly was ) then the slogan should read “ All lives matter”.
If I went around wearing a “White lives matter” T shirt I have no doubt I’d be getting photos of me on social media and probably getting arrested.
Does nobody else see the irony of this?
It's OK to have black lives matter plastered over football shirts as seen last night but god help the poppy and what this emblem represents! Do lost army lives not matter for those guys who unselfishly gave their lives for freedom! People need to get a grip!
I like snooker but before long it will be politically incorrect to smack the white ball on to the black ball![]()
Personally Al I don't think it is OK to wear the BLM slogan on shirts. Apart from their own rules which state that nowt political should be shown on shirts they have now clearly set a precedent. What next? Perhaps it could be 'VOTE LABOUR' or FREE PALESTINE NOW' on the shirts.
I agree with you - I said that in jest and it'certainly not alright when the poppy could not go on which represents all those brave service men and women who gave their lives to this country - then they put that slogan on!
What if a footballer does not want to go down one one knee - will he be called a racist FFS. That person could be very supportive but he may not want to do what everyone else does and do their own thing!

There are too many agendas being driven by vocal minority groups. Say anything that these groups can pick a hole in and they will demonise you. The media either have too many people within such groups or they are too frightened to call it out as bigotry; that is bigotry against the majority of the population. Can you imagine the outcry if a politician were to say that they thought that certain homo***ual practices were repulsive. Such a view is not illegal nor does it encourage discrimination. If we are a free country then all viewpoints are valid, unless they pose a threat to others. The PC brigade are the real bigots in society.
Is not black lives matter a violent, radical and divisive political organisation whose intent is to overthrow capitalism? Then tell why this group is now plastered over football shirts when the Premier League is driven by financial greed, what a stupid and ignorant thing to do.
There are a lot of wrong assumptions, like "White privilege"
I have no idea what that means because I have never had any such privilege. The 1% of the population have it, it means they go to Oxford, or Cambridge, or Eton, so I find the phrase offensive. The biggest problem isn't white and black, Its Rich and Poor. The reason is simple:
If you are Rich it doesn't matter whether you are white or Black you can do whatever you want. Doors open, and you can even pay people to open the doors for you. I am amazed how there is talk of us in the UK having serious Racial issues when every time you watch TV there are Black folks doing the interviews, reporting, and even hosting talk shows about Black issues. Do they have Black privilege? because I wouldn't stand a dogs chance of getting that job, and I can talk my way around anywhere. However, you often find that whether Black or white they went to good schools, and had rich or famous relatives. The problem is Rich and poor, Not black or white. Even during the slave trade (which I am sure we all agree was disgusting) the majority of white people themselves were slaves to Rich White people.
