Today game was like a practice match, no intensity at all.

Did Austin even touch the ball?

Never rated Edwards as he's a poor man's Lloyd Dyer.

Robinson was bad and should have buried that header. Philips didn't get his crosses in and overplayed it.

I thought the defence was good, with Hegazi pinging some great passes around, but Gibbs was disappointing going forward.

Overall we came up against a resolute blose, but we need to up our tempo on Friday as definitely need at least a draw.

That is I think 3 league games on the trot without scoring. Not going to win many games with that form.

As I said before the game I feel we have plenty of strength in midfield but need a better centre forward. HRK works hard but against packed defences is never going to be good enough for me.

That said our bench just shows how strong the squad is. How many of those on the bench would have got into the Blues team, most if not all, and that is the same for most of the other Championship sides. The problem is for me that we don’t have a stand out 11 despite having a great squad.

Many of the players are a similar standard and that always worries me, always has and always will. I know the game has changed from the 60s/70s but you knew what our best 11 was and you can still name them now.

I think that we need to give more credit to our opposition when we play at home. Frequently they come with the tactic of letting us have the ball and keeping their defence tight, then use the counter attack. It is apparent that we struggle to break teams down when they adopt these tactics and that is why we are more successful away when defences are more open.

You are absolutely bang on there Blood!! Disappointing as Brentford showed intensity and sharpness so we can't blame the first game!! We can't lose now on Friday!

Watching Cardiff v Leeds, so much energy and pace compared to Albion, it seems we need to pass the ball 20 times before we go anywhere. I know Blues came with a defensive game plan but our slow play did not pull there defence about, it gave them time to be organised at our every attack, Bilic I think got it very wrong not just with team selection but in game tactics.
Got to improve v Brentford otherwise I can see a mauling, Oh and please Mr Bilic get rid of the useless, inept one trick pony that is HRK, he looked like a concrete statue yesterday.

Krov and Grady must start against Brentford. Philips needs to be banished to the bench and whilst I give HRK 10 out of 10 for effort this season - he’s just not good enough - to predictable and never looks like he will score. So for me HRK needs to stop to the bench too! Robinson is better than HRK but never a Premier league player in a million years!

Can’t lose t Brentford but would take a draw!

Makes no difference that Leeds lost against a decent Cardiff side. The facts are we threw away two points! Lets just hope - Philips, HRK and Edwards do not start against Brentford as there's better options with pace, creativity and the ability to put the ball in the net.

Love what was an optimistic board and fan base which these days can turn quicker that milk for instant success. Top of the league and yet some see it ok as to slag off individuals and the club as a whole after one game after a theee month break. Great support, not. Not The type of the Baggies supporters that endeared me to be a fan of this still great club.

I may be in the minority here and that will make me unpopular. Those than lambast the club when they are top of their league are, well simply shameless.
