Footballers want to play games and if he can't do it here he's now got the chance to do it elsewhere.
I don't know where this involves your profit before ambition claim.Maybe you want the club to give him a three year contract of 5k a week to stay at home.
I know you always respect the right for others to express opinions Bill but where have I had a dig abart the club issuing a retained/ released list ? As far as I remember fans have traditionally commented on the club's retained list every year. Is that now off limits ?

My Profit Before Ambition statement is more general and relates to the clubs stated policy of only buying young players with a view to bringing in a profit in a couple of years rather than building a team with a blend of young players, experience and the odd loan players in order to achieve some success on the football field--ambition. These owners are solely to blame for our current place in the relegation zone because of their summer transfer activities. It was only when it was going t1ts up they brought in experience (Sollbauer) and loans (Ludewig). You have somehow linked this in with the retained list in order to score a point--Oh, I forgot, you don't say things to score points.

But you did have a dig my friend by linking the retained list with money before ambition when its the annual event which happens at every club.
I'm of the opinion you don't like being challenged on your hatred of the owners and your fear of losing your disciples who nod at your every command.I always thought this site was a closed shop and I wanted to had some balance but if every post is hijacked with hate to our owners maybe its better to be a closed shop where no views other than hatred is allowed.Very sad day for Tykesmad,in my opinion obviously.

Sorry Ponte. But that’s where the football is at least “enjoyable”. The away days “affordable” and we appear to be “comfortable”
I’ll take that. I hate the Championship and all it’s “We are really Premier League” attitude. Give me Accrington, and Andy Holt and his Passion any day as an owner too.

That totally isn’t the case. Totally. Your Blind optimism is just as welcome here as SB’s humoured dislike for the owners. Keep it up.
Floaters like me like to read it all Bill.

I've never accepted that as our level though Jules. If it wasn't for Patrick Cryne making all the fans grateful for having a club mantra. I still think fans wouldn't have had the wool pulled over their eyes for so long.

It's that be grateful for your lot brigade which made us easy pickings for these owners. They just don't see it.

A think the heats gerrin to thi Bill.

I'm sure these posters, whoever they are, wouldn't enjoy being referred to as unthinking "disciples" being "at my command" . I would find it insulting to be honest.

My "dislike of being challenged" is just me sticking to my long held views.

It's up to you to crack open this supposed "closed shop" with well argued posts to the contrary rather than throwing pseudo psychology at such as myself.
I know you respect all opinions
