Well that's a phuckin blow if you ask me. Wood contacted me,and I contacted the Mossad,I sat up all night working out equations and algorithms, those with a little of the Boolean Pythagorean Triples equation problems. For example the keepers height ,weight , how the keeper jumps before the ball is kicked, wind, shade, weather ,you name it I did it . And then he calls sinkov!!

    Two more to go now..
As you say, your reserves did well last night, and I for one was gutted when the penalty went in. I would rather Wood have scored with his header. We have lost 3 points recently by letting goals in, in the dying seconds. Having said that we have stolen a few game with goals at the death.

I said on our board that this would be our toughest game of the remaining three, and predicted a 1-1 draw. I like the way your players never give up and fight right to the end, Mike Dean, the referee last night gave two penalties against us in our Championship game at Cardiff, one saved and one missed, both given in injury time. It will be interesting what Mike Riley has to say about the penalty decision on Ref Watch on Sky. It could easily be deemed dangerous play.

At the end you battled hard for a well earned point, not bad for a side who had only one shot on target.

We have to battle to for everything with our small squad. Some people don't understand the art of defence nowadays. Burnley have arguably the best defence ever seen in the premier league and never give up and fight for each other. If Pope and Tarky played for any other team they would be shoe ins for the England squad Abbobrom. Defence is our key to winning as we always create the odd chance.

Well said alf, we have definitley mastered the art.
It is interesting to note that we have the 10th best defensive record in the PL and the 12th best scoring record --hence 10th place is probably the correct position.
We have failed to score in 10 matches and kept a clean sheet in 15 ---pretty good by any standards.

I agree Pope should be the England keeper. What about Connor Coady, not missed a Wolves game in the Premiership for two years. Is there is a better passer out of defence in the League?

I think Coady and Tarkowski would make a great pairing of centre backs. Expect a bid in the region of £4 million from our notoriously parsimonious Chairman for us to take him off your hands.

I think it may take a little more than £4 million, put a zero after your 4 and you will be nearer to the mark.

I agree, Coady is an excellent player, good enough to slot into our back four even. But I had to smile when the commentator's curse got him last night, he hadn't put a foot wrong for about 30 minutes when Dion Dublin, I think it was, said what an excellent passer of the ball he was. Before Dion could draw breath, Connor smacked a thirty yard pass straight out for a Burnley throw-in. It always happens.

For forty million you can buy the Town Hall, the clock and half the Burnley town centre real estate abbobrom.
