    Regarding owls and wigan, Sports-mail reported yesterday that any points deductions are only set to be applied next season.

    Wigan's points are deducted now. They will be appealing though.

    the rules state a club can loose upto 12 points if they go into administration. under the circumstances its possible they could get the points reduced... im not sure why they choose the 2nd of july when its so close to the end of the season
    maybe theres a alternative motive
