However, it's a 46 game season and Albion earned the right to promotion
I don't think we recovered from blowing automatic promotion and losing the play-off final in 99/00. (We had some shocking results such as the 2-2 with Port Vale.) People seem to forget the chances we had to go second.

I think it was in our hands wi 5 games to gu mate. That's a lot of football to be fair. We stumbled like tha sez but thaz got to remember that City won their last 5 games that season and finished well above us in the end so credit to them.

I remember us going second with five games to go after we beat Grimsby at home midweek 3-0 .

I don't think we won another game after that , the Port Vale away game feckin killed us when they scored in time added on .

Even bloody Crewe turned us over on the last day at Oakwell .

I wasn't a massive Bassett fan myself , that night at Bramall Lane when he put Hignett and Shipperley on the bench around mid March time and we went behind .

He brought em on early in the second half and within 20 minutes we were leading 3-1 , only to let it slip and it finished 3-3 .

Not my cup of char Bassett , especially in his autobiography when he slagged us off for expecting to be in the PL .

Tha weren't saying that when John Dennis paid thi a wad of money to do exactly that , what's tha think he hired thi for ? .

Brentford v Swansea toneet and the second leg .

Pressure well and truly on Brentford nar , something they've not handled too well of late .

I could be wrong and it's just a gut feeling but I think it could be heartbreak for The Bee's .

Leeds sniffing around Benrahma I've read this morning .

Personally I'd want Brentford to go up. If not and we are still a championship club next season they'll be art fo blood. They'll wanna hammer us. I still think this independent panel will screw us. They'll halve the deduction. Which if I remember rights means Wigan would start next season on -6 points. When it comes to Wednesday, they'll get deducted 8 points so they'll stay up as well condemning us to lg 1. Over to Dane & his lawyers.

Paul's yer man when it comes to legal action. He'll be flying in from Ostend in Belgium today to beat the quarantine rules coming in.

A new replica "Paul" doll is now available from the club shop. Tha presses its belly button and it says, "Sue the Guy, Sue the Guy". Hours of fun pointing it at photos of Stendel, the Hearts owner and the Hull owner.
