Sorry but I can't see how Brewster will end up at The Baggies.

Bilic likes to play with just 1 up front and I can't see that changing in The Prem. I don't think anyone is advocating that we rely on a 20 year kid as our lone striker. If we sign the big name striker Watkins, Maquiri, Grant whoever then Brewster is going to play 2nd fiddle. That doesn't fit in at all with Liverpool's requirement that their loan players play 75% of all games. They'll take a look and say no. So much as I'd love Brewster along side a big striker I can't see it.

You really haven't seen anything of Brewster if you think he is going to play second fiddle to the players you have mentioned.

Totally missed the point! What I think is irrelevant Liverpool's perspective is all that matters. If (as I guess we all hope) a large part of our meagre budget goes on a striker then whoever it is they have to start. Liverpool will know that. End of.

Only way it might work is if the striker signing is from the lower divs and Brewster is considered to be the No1.

Or maybe Bilic would love to play 2 up front it's just that last season he didn't have 1 decent striker let alone 2!

Obviously Brewster is number one from the title of the thread to my posts since, I haven't suggested unproven players from Turkey who will probably end up like Cenk Tosin at Everton or the lower tier players like Toney who, imo can't lace Brewster's boots.

This guy is like Lukaku imo and just needs playing time.

Pay a reasonable loan fee and we have one of the 2 strikers we need.

The other would have been che Adams for me, but no chance of him now given his recent purple patch.

True but don’t recall Burke was much use at attacking either.....had pace for sure...but couldn’t trap a bag of cement....maybe he’s improved while in Spain...
