It's a load of borrocks (as Benny Hill might say) when the TV commentators speak of the players showing "respect" or "solidarity" with the BLM movement when they "take the knee"before a game. What a load of insincere crap! The players do it because the individual doesn't want to stand out or to be remembered for not doing it. The commentators know this too but they have to toe the line and say what their politically motivated bosses want - they want to keep a low profile too. Like I said I don't really mind either way on taking the knee and I do agree about the pressure to conform. However this guy not doing it means nothing to me. he's an idiot and I had no respect for him before hand.

The down on one knee proposal of marriage is probably just an English tradition. When you are being knighted you are actually being submissive to the person knighting you. After all you can be knighted with a sword without kneeling down.

They released the full transcript of the video recording of Floyd's death a few weeks back and the media ignored it. He apparently said that he couldn't breathe whilst he was inside the police car and then he asked to be placed on the ground. It was only when he started bashing his own head against the window/door that they got him out and called for an ambulance out of concern for his drug induced condition. No evidence in the transcript that the officer who had his knee on Floyd already knew him.
Media have also largely ignored three black people shot dead by BLM/antifa protesters and a black man now incarcerated with a $1 million dollar bail after his car hit a white female BLM protester who was standing in the middle of a freeway and died of her injuries.

There is a lot that is being ignored my the mainstream media becuase it makes BLM look bad. The 30 deaths that are a direct link to George Floyd. The fact that several cities in the US have voted to close down their police forces (Milwakee, Seatle and Portland). The fact that the Peaceful Protesters enganged in 60+ days of rioting that are still continuing in Portland.
