Yes if you're referring to the Oakwell board nothing changes. Not in the red,not in administration, appointing another good manager and more important in my eyes not cheating like Wednesday,Derby and Wigan etc.Enjoy the break it'll not be long now.

Set thi expectations low and tha'll nivver be disappointed. The way this club sells it's best assets it's naive to be optimistic, inevitably thi hopes and spirit just gets crushed everytime. I think we're capable of avoiding the drop as the squad currently stands. In a month's time it'll be a different story when 3 key players have left and been replaced with more inexperienced players. Back to square one. That's not glass aif empty, it's realism

Struber and his young group fought like tigers and took the season to the very last minute and deserve the accolades .

The devastating defeat at Elland Road and the manner of it would have finished off the majority of squads at this level .

Even had we have gone down there was much to admire about the HC and his young group , you couldn't help but like them despite a few flaws to say the least .

Certainly a few players have risen in statue when the league restarted , Walton , Styles , Simoes and Palmer look tidy prospects .

Solbauer and Andersen looked a good pairing in the middle of the back four , Solbauer is a far better player than I ever gave him credit for initially .

There's some good foundations here no doubt about it .

There's always a but isn't they with the club , hopefully lessons are learnt and we kick on but as I've stated I can't as yet fully commit to the total positivity that Bill has due to our history of late .

When I was growing up if I had a pound for every person who said to me "tha daft watching them they don't want to go up"I'd have been a very rich man.The future is why everyone survives the unknown keeps people going and interested in whats going to happen. Some of the things posted on here about whats going to happen like administration ,the owners taking money and running just haven't happened but no one admits there wrong.Like when we signed Pinnock some of the posts were quite disgusting "we're going backwards buying non league rubbish etc "then the same people slate the board for selling him.I think every signing the club have made has been rubbished before people have even seen them.I know one thing i wouldn't swap any of our young players for some over rated over paid experienced pros.
In the cold light of day you could argue that without Wigans points deduction we would have been relegated and thats a fact, its also a fact if the EFL would have acted sooner in punishing the cheating clubs we wouldn't have been relegated anyway.

No one wo saying "The dun't want to go up" under Stendel's promotion campaign.

No one's saying we are likely to go into administration. If income exceeds expenditure the result is happiness.

The present owners took the money and ran from OGC Nice but little scope for that here at the moment.

I would swap Marc Roberts for Bambo Diaby, Glen Whelan for Patrick Schmidt, Dwight Gayle for Jordan Green and many more older players for many of our youngsters. Even our owners may be beginning to realise you need some experience to avoid continual fights against relegation. The possible new Austrian is 27 in two weeks.

In our last eleven Championship seasons the facts are we have finished 21st, 22nd,14th, 23rd, 21st, 21st,17th, 18th, 20th, 19th, and 20th. With the squad we are likely to have this coming season it is realistic to think little will change.

The beauty of life is the unknown but on the law of averages your assessment is pretty convincing.I'm prepared to sit back be patient and see what the coming season brings and hopefully we all get a pleasant surprise.

I said it when we signed him that I had a good feeling about Sollbauer
He's the signing that moved away from the 21 year old bracket & his experience has influenced the team no end
Look no further than this evidence & btw there are many in his age bracket to choose from that would do us no harm whatsoever
