Well, there’s a month to kick off, he hasn’t played first team football since before Christmas and he’s always been a solidly built citizen, so even if he’s a little overweight I guess that’s what the pre-season is for! And he’s not as young as most of those around him!

Well yes, and actually surprised as we understood he'd been doing a lot of training before he could get involved in playing drills - unless he just did weights work of course!

As a Walsall fan pointed out on the feed, they didn't actually lose connectivity as we could all hear the live sound. It was the picture transmission that went. Part of the operator's words included, "I can't understand, it says it is connected".

Indeed, though then they lost sound from the black screen as well of course and the stream ended. Hoped for a while that they'd just cut it to try and restart but after a while it became clear nothing more was coming. A contrast from the start when we had picture but no sound for many! Good to find this out more if they're going to do it again - as long as they find out why it happened!
