Ardley knows what he needs. More so than you or I. I’m not sure any Asst. Manager would grab the imagination.
I can imagine behind the laddish behaviour that he has exhibited in the past there is a serious guy who can dish out a scolding when needed.

He's a bit of a joker, no doubt but I'm sure he's one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I'm just not sure he's what was needed. Managers and assistants normally do the good cop/bad cop routine when players aren't performing, are we gonna do the good cop/better cop one?
