    😁True.

But theres no such thing as bad weather. Just weather. Just need to apply this thinking to this season.

Lakes in the rain are better than a good day at home. Been a few times but really remember cycle touring around them for the first time in my younger days. Hardknott pass was fun, Eskdale, Penrith, Windermere. Loved the pubs but a Kendall cash machine wouldn't let go of my money and ripped my last tenner in half.

    Enjoy as best you can.

The weather in the U.K is like being a Nufc fan, We are used to the miserable grey clouds and rain, The sun comes out a couple of times a year, But it always rains again.

Just to bring the thread back on track.....
We still have a half decent defence with a world class keeper.
    We have strengthened the midfield.
Nobody is allowed in the stadium to witness the tedious football we have become accustomed to.
Quatar didn't win the Champions League.

Suppose this time last year, we had nothing - Bruce arrived, the squad looked nailed on for relegation and it looked like Ashley would never sell. The whole Premier League O&D fiasco was at that time unheard of but at least now, even if we don’t get the dream come true owners that came out of the blue, the eventual owners, whoever they are may take the club forward. Even without mega millions, even if the club was run properly and stood on it’s own two feet with investment in the academy and a proper first team manager and coaching staff, we should be able to move on from the last 13+ years of crâp. Still got to fear for this season though but a lot of us on here have said that we’d take another relegation to get rid of the sack of pus once and for all.
