    Gives you more confidence if you have a big lad in goal. I'd always go for a tall keeper. Ardley seems to like them smaller. McDonnell was on 5,11 too.

    Generally speaking, taller keepers are usually better at commanding their area and better on crosses but will struggle getting down to fast low snap shots.

    Smaller keepers are generally very agile and are good shot stoppers to have made it as a goal keeper. Peterborough had Mark Tyler, he wasn't tall at all but was a very good keeper. I think you need two towering centre backs if you have a small keeper though, something we seem to have now

    Probably most exciting Notts match I have seen - at Meadow Lane, anyway. Cherry was absolutely unbelievable.
