I hate how they have the home screen with the same shows over and over and Netflix does that.
I usually click one and look at the page under with all the other recommendations and find some unreal shows otherwise you wouldn't know are on the platform.
The Turkish series mentioned is one of the best going around but after 2 series I got tired of reading wish it was dubbed.
You could try this for Netflix

All the local tv stations have free steaming of stuff and be surprised most of the thing on Netflix and prime they show for free.

The Last Dance on Netflix was/is awesome - a bit like Raging Bull in that it is a tribute to how the obsession with winning/will to win and hatred of losing can fuel great success.

    The Narcos series are good.

On Prime - the take us home series/and regular updating of movies. If you search actors you like you can see which movies are tagged as prime and free to watch.

The new attenbrough series on Netflix is good but a little depressing.

Am presently watching Resurrection Ertugal... Which doesn't make sense for a Leeds supporter as it's about Turks in medieval times..Muslims v Crusaders.. there is about 300 episodes, very slow at start, repetitive, some hammy acting and sub titles so when dozing off have to backtrack... but i keep watching
Guess you have seen Better call Saul if your a breaking bad fan? True detective, justified and mindhunter are decent...

Only just finally catching up with Breaking Bad - I'm in the middle of the third season.

Started watching Schitt's Creek too on someone else's recommendation, but it's not particularly grabbed me as of yet.

the first 2 seasons were great but then they made it more or less about the gay son even though I watched the other season didn't feel the same. BTW I don't know how it got the awards this year as I would rate it on the lower scale of comedy.
