I just feel its all rather easy to ask a country in such a mess, why are you all so gloomy?
Hundreds of thousands of us dying. Millions are losing our jobs. Millions are I s fincaial mess. We being less by a Goverment who are making costly mistake after costly mistake.

Some of us have no family or friends we can even visit.

Some of us have got the odd thing like football to take our minds off things. Some of us dont want to see our team losing most weeks.

Do we really need patronising right now?

This thread represents a complete distortion of my views.
I'd go so far as to say it is arse about face.
It is precisely because the world's in such a dreadful space at the moment that I say we shouldn't display despair and despondency over the football team we support- especially when the situation it's in is not even disastrous - or anywhere near it.
When I was a younger man, I travelled thousands of miles a season, following Rovers to some of England's dog-end grounds. I was usually alone because I lived in places remote from other BRFC supporters.
I think some of you need to get your facts straight before you mouth off.

A healthy debate is great but when it turns to someone potentially being outcast,that's when I have to step in.
