Nudge I’ve no intention of knocking myself out all I did was to highlight two lines in your thread:

He's an old bloke who shouldn't have been in that job anyway.
He's of a generation that struggles to know what's right to say and what's not.
    Cheers,
Remember a wolf whistle with a rising and falling pitch, directed towards someone to express *** ual attraction or admiration.
It’s now classed as offensive !

You've just made a discriminatory statement there Poggy and you never even knew it .

He's an old bloke who shouldn't have been in the job is a breach of employment law .

Which just goes to show where we are today .

Clarke chose a poor phrase but that doesn't make him a racist .

You've also made a poor choice with your words but it doesn't necessarily mean you'd discriminate against older people .

I can’t get that it’s not ok to say “ coloured footballer”, yet some papers are reporting that Paul Elliot may soon be the first “Black Chairman” of the FA........

Firstly...... Why say he is Black? It shouldn’t matter. Should read “ Paul Elliot may be the next Chairman of the FA”

Secondly....... Who stands in as FA Chairman at Pantomine season Next year....... ?

Jules , this is a fascinating debate and whilst we are on international duty we may as well have it .

This thing goes deep mate and far deeper than many of us have actually realised going about our daily lives .

I've got sucked in to this in the summer with fecking BLM and statues and I've got some opinions a few months down the line .

It's late but I'll post later today .

Animal I’m not supporting Clarke at all here I’m simply saying:
It’s the section about age and the comments on the older generation.
    Ageist don’t you think.
