Panicking now ? Boris has been panicking for some time 59, a state of panic is the normal mode for this government.

Because of the Biden victory a no deal Brexit would mean no deal with the US because of the Irish border thing. Our economy would be toast if this happened.

You think our economy isn't toast already because of the lockdowns ? The effect of a no deal Brexit on our economy will be insignificant compared to the devastation wreaked by lockdowns

So expect there to be a last minute deal with the EU. In order for this to happen Dominic had to be given the bums rush. The right wing gammons in the Tory party will be apoplectic, but if the UK economy isn't going to go down the drain it is essential.

And you haven't noticed our economy going down the drain because of the lockdowns ? In fact it's not going down the drain, it's long since disappeared down the drain and been swept out to sea. I really wouldn't worry about an EU
trade deal, it's neither here nor there.

No doubt many will say "No Deal with the EU" even if it means no deal with the US and the resulting economic carnage, just as a point of principle. They remind me of young children stamping their feet when they don't get an ice cream.

I don't know anyone who doesn't want a trade deal with the EU, except your ever present straw men 59, most people don't want one at any price though. We don't have a trade deal with the USA at the moment, so nothing will change there, but we will soon, whether we have one with the EU or not. The only people stamping their feet these last few years seems to be Remoaners, who didn't get their own way and didn't like it one little bit. And they're still stamping their feet, aren't you 59

    Self harmers?
Sometimes 59, you post more tripe than BT, and that takes some doing.

Reported in May 2020:- "British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s senior adviser, Dominic Cummings, is considering quitting later this year, the Daily Mail newspaper reported"

He was going anyway because there was a follow up on this which I can't find --not that it matters.

Stop spoiling their weekend Sub, they think they've won one, it's not fair letting the real world impinge upon their sad little w@nkfest. They don't seem to have noticed the little bit at the bottom of all the reports, 'he will remain employed until mid December', by which time Brexit will all be done and dusted. As you so rightly point out, he said he'd be gone by the end of the year, when Brexit was sorted, and that's precisely when he will be gone.

If Brexit gets "done" you will need to clean the Big Window in Burnley.

A "No Deal" Brexit is not getting Brexit done.

Incidentally 59er, unless it escaped you BAE have just flogged the German Air Force £1.3 billon quids worth of fighter planes.

    No deal my arse!

Cummings will be gone when the Blonde Assassin says he will be gone.

Language is important Supersub6, one single word changes the whole context of a sentence, but you already know that.

Very true, however, that was exactly as the Daily Mail reported so ----was it their words or was it the Dom's? As a Grauniad fanatic you know as well as I do that all newspapers report what they want to report ---not always what is said verbatim. As I said, not that it matters, certainly not to the Dom who can just sit back and watch whatever unfolds.

Remember a couple of weeks ago BT, Boris was bounced into Lockdown 2, because someone close to him leaked Dumb and Dummer's dodgy graph with the fantasy death figures. Boris was extremely cross apparently, he ordered an inquiry to find the culprit, I believe the Old Bill have been involved, mobiles were confiscated, interviews and statements taken, everyone said 'not me gov' and they still haven't been able to lay a glove on anyone for it. Whoever leaked has covered his tracks exceptionally well, he's obviously someone who wanted another lockdown, and someone who is very clever, Dominic Cummings wanted another lockdown, and is someone who is very clever. He was last seen carrying a cardboard box on his way out of 10 Downing St, having been booted out never to return.

    Just co-incidence ?

There are a large rump of Tory 's who want a no deal Brexit. And i think Cummings does as well.

I haven't heard about the BAE deal with Germany, but what is your point? It's situation normal until 1st January. And even then we will still be trading with the EU but tariffs will be in place unless we get a deal.
