It is 'a view' but far from the only alternative view. Im neither awe struck nor ready to slate him. I see a sportsman going through a transition in form. Take it for what it is.

Well surely Lol must have a point then? His form hasn't been great and he got sent off in his last match for England which cost us.

Southgate may not have afforded other players as much leniency.

I was referring to his opening post. I said 'What is the pleasure that people get knocking our sportsmen when they are down.'

It’s because he plays for Man UTD.
Nothing to do with anything else.

Technically innocent pending the review of his antics on holiday but wouldn't it be more sensible to give the captaincy to another player until it's all fully sorted?

Going to look a bad move if his criminal act is confirmed by the courts

Mason Greenwood on the other hand is having a terrible week but I’ll leave that there for now.

If Lol is anything like me I'm sure he would rather be saying how good it is to have a player like Maguire rather than knocking him.

If Lol wants England to win things I'm sure he doesn't take any pleasure in it at all.

That’s right Shark I’ve said on an earlier post that Grealish is not my favourite person but on form he his playing well & in very good form so for me he should be picked not just for games that does not matter.

I like your enthusiasm, but realistically England won't win anything no matter how often we big them up.
