Interesting that despite 5 of the fringe players playing Bilic didn’t go to watch the game so looks like he relies totally on what the players do in training.
I think we could get a lot more out of him than we do and I do think he offers a lot more than some of the players ahead of him in the pecking order.
There’s no excuse for a professional athlete to
be overweight, I’ll never understand this.

If an average non athlete like me can go out jogging and keep himself in shape in his 60th year then how can an athlete not have the personal pride to stay constantly in shape.

I admire the ex players and athletes who maintain their healthy lifestyle after they finish playing.

I look at ex players like John Barnes and Neil Ruddock and just shake my head in disbelief.

I remember watching a more modern episode of Superstars about 6-7 years ago with Bryan Robson on it and he ran the cross country like a bloke of 30 rather than being in his mid 50’s.

Grosicki needs to give his head a wobble!

I saw Ally Rob in a pub near where I live a couple years back and have to say he still looked very fit. By contrast Super Bob wasn’t looking so super when I saw him in a pub in Wollaston last year 🙄

Didn’t Villa have a player who made the press for all the wrong reasons a couple of years back? A big boozer apparently who was always missing training? The one who couldn’t open the gate on his drive so the manager drove to his house one morning went and opened it for him.

Allegedly Bob Taylor is a massive p I s s head with an unhealthy intake of alcohol.

I turned up to play 6 a side at The Hawthorns a few years ago on a Sunday morning and Bob was there with Daryl Burgess absolutely stinking of booze and looking very disheveled.

My son in law was with me and he’d seen Bob of his head in Wollaston the previous night and he’d turned up on the Sunday morning in the same stained clothing.

Such a nice guy though and sad that he can’t seem to get a grip of this.

The Villa player was Ross McCormack mate 😆😆😆
