Unfortunately, we bought a team to get us up but without having the ability to survive at the top level. Assuming that we do go down, we must have a clear out and build a team around the likes of O'Shea, Field, Harper, Edwards and Tulloch.

I do not think Bilic should go.

    Exactly my thoughts today.

Proper young players playing in their correct positions.

If you lack pace, physicality and attitude don’t apply.

More worrying for me, though, is the way football has gone in the last two seasons; the Premier League is ****, run by knobs motivated purely by money, VAR used to support the ‘big’ clubs, refs no longer competent to do the job. Football is ******.
I think this is why many people are losing interest in the game tbh. Add in the politicising of the game as we are seeing and you have the perfect storm to drive supporters away

As you say '55, a lack of investment is at the heart of the problem.
Investment is the problem for sure Leicester
But saying that , I wouldn't trust Bilic with millions if it did suddenly turn up .

I’d take Bilic over Appleton every day of the week.

Everyone needs to be aware THAT is our next port of call.

Be very careful what you wish for.

Personally I'd stick with Bilic every day but we all know that if you're a manager you're much better of getting sacked than resigning. I just hope he's not going down that route of engineering his own sacking as he won't be the first. If they do this then I too fear it will be someone very cheap to replace him like Appleton as you say.

After stating in an earlier post that the only candidate I would want is Howe, I will admit that Pearson might be a good fit. He stands no messing, we would be well organised and would make us a harder side to beat. He also has a good track record for the situation that we find ourselves in.
