Repeat of Saturdays performance Crap first half rallied a bit second when the horse has already bolted. 2 soft goals again. We had been at least competing in the first half in the early games this season but this is a throw back to the last time we were in this league.

Oh well lets hope Wycombe derby and forest lose tomoz and keep us out of the bottom 3.. At least the pigs did the honours today by losing.

Only Bristo titty and blackburn next ho ho

I hate it when we've got to rely on other team's results. Our destination is in our own hands at the moment (that could change tomorrow though). If we can put in the effort for ninety minutes instead of forty five then we would start to pick some points up and start climbing the table to safety. We're so inconsistent it's unbelievable.

After Saturday and today I've come to the conclusion that I much prefer the stress experienced when we're protecting a lead/draw for the last 15 (+x) minutes than I like the stress of being 2-0 down after 15 minutes. At least with the former scenario there's hope!

You can't give teams a two goal start and expect to get anything out of the game. Highlight of the first half, no yellow cards, highlight of the second half - only two yellow cards.
One shot on target doesn't tell all the story.
    Back to basics Paul Warne.

First half we looked a zillion miles off. Second half better, but Watford dropped down to our level and coasted. Some chances to score, but too many players lacking ability and confidence.

Wednesday and Brentford look like a different season and the new year looks a depressing prospect. Keep checking for an 'easy' fixture - Donny next year?

It's just one game in hand.
    We're still in trouble though.
Slightly encouraged that we didn't get smashed but our lack of any points recently isn't good.
    Easier game vs bristol

Watford got the game won in the first half and then clearly just took their foot of the pedal.

It’s just laughable at times, think I’ll just start watching 2nd half

It’s just like we know what’s going to happen every****inggame

Because Watford were too good for us in the first half and won the game by half time. They were happy to reserve energy and relax in the second half which subsequently meant that their tempo wasn't at the same level and they were a bit sloppy in possession. They also used all of their substitutes and rested some key players. I don't think we can look too much into why we played so different in the two halfs of football as that was massively down to the opposition taking their foot of the pedal.
