There's an agreed going rate for MP's and I have a Christmas Quiz question just for you OC, "Which MP claimed the least expenses during their tenure as an MP?"

    A clue...

And it's not the one with the knife in his hand.

Yep- honourable man. I do wonder why the multitude of people who joined the Labour Party when JC was elected leader could not see that he triumphed in the election, particularly when he promised so much and takes hardly any expenses. Surely he should be leading the country and would have ensured that Brexit would have happened ages ago and we would have been Covid free by the end of April.

You underestimate the power of the media Supersub6. They even have us all convinced we are about to die from the Corona virus.

The media don't have a vote, it is just individuals who vote. It appears to me that you are saying that lots of Labour supporters can't think for themselves and are influenced by what they see in the Guardian and Daily Mirror and what they hear on the BBC, surely if that is the case, JG should have won with a landslide victory.
As for the corona virus, who knows? I am now in a Tier 2 area having spent 5 hours on the road in lots of traffic and not having contact with another living soul!

The media tried to convince us Boris was a waster, could never lead the Tory party, could never win a general election, could never win an EU referendum, could never get Brexit done. That went well didn't it, not that powerful the media, the public can see right through them, just like they saw right through Corbyn.
