What tha's got here Nudge in the technical area is a guy who is more street wise than a mafia hood .

The only principles he's got is to win football games and he doesn't give a shyte how he gets em .

We can play decent football but if we need to be direct then so be it .

Nicest team in the championship ?

Feck that , this is the championship with a limited budget .

We bullied that lot today and it's nice to see this club taking no shyte from anyone at this level and getting the results to go with it .

In an ideal world you want winning football and playing with style of course you do .

Val isn't a long ball merchant , what he's done is to mix up our style and doesn't pin his colours to a specific mast .

If we'd got a Norwich or a Bournemouth budget then fair enough you'd be entitled to see better technical football whilst winning games .

We've one the smallest budgets in the championship and are punching well above that right now .

We have played some good stuff since Val came here , that winning goal at Hillsborough was sublime football for example .

Tha gonna either ev games weear thy ez an off day, games weear thy ez to sit back and defend, games weear tha ez to scrap, feight and dig in and games weear tha laiks well, games weear thy ex good luck and bad luck.

Thuz a lot of contributory factors to how a game can pan art from opposition set up, conditions, tactics, styles, referees, run ot ball etc.

Key is knowing how to adapt and get a result. We laiked better football than Swansea last week but lost cos we dint cope wi conditions very well. Wiv laiked well ageeanst booarnmuth yet lost four nowt cos we were a bit naive at times and their better quality. Apparently we were very direct today but managed to win the game wi a well worked set piece and a long throw wi a near powst flick on.

Thaz got to appreciate how difficult it is to laik well and get results. We did that all last season. Ar many opposition fans did thy hear sayin Barnsley are a good side after tekkin 3 points off us? A tell thi Nudge it wo nearly ivry week early on last season, pyssed me off summat chronic. Feck that forra game o soldiers.

To be fair wiv laiked some good stuff at times this season mixed wi some more rugged football at times shall we say. A good blend needed to succeed at this level.

A good example of a team that laiks pretty football is Fulham. Scott Parker refuses to change his style and philosophy. I respect him fo his stance but we all know that the likelihood is that Fulham will be relegated.

Good stuff mate, one of the most improved players in the squad fo me. I hope he can carry on improving and moving forward- That's just it though wi this squad, thuv ed 18 months together nar and are getting more streetwise and learning that little bit more every week. I think the older signings have really helped in that respect. We're not quite as good as i think we can be but we're getting better. We're starting to find ways and giving it absolutely everything out there on the pitch. Tha can't ask fo ennymooar.
