None of my Leeds friends have made any comment at all at the moment. I wonder why? They are all good lads and were bloody good musicians but that won't stop me!

I rang Pete my Dirty Weeds supporting mate at 3-0 and started my usual "We all hate Leeds" refrain, he said something along the lines of "F**k OFF" and slammed the 'phone down. Charming I thought!

No worries Alf - enjoy the teasing - it’s part of the fun. Feel a little for Crawley - in a non pandemic year sure they would have gone out on the lash ina spectacular way and had a very very fine time indeed.

We fully deserved to lose - there is no getting away from it - some very strange ideas about playing anyone anywhere on the pitch today from our coaching team and we got caught out.

The front two both looked decent, good touch, pace and an eye for goal. Sure Crawly will want to hang on to them if they are to push up the leagues though.

Hope you are all keeping safe and well in Burnley.

PS how is a Charlie Taylor going for you - he looked good against us.

He’s probably my favourite player of late - he’s always 7.5/8 out of 10 in my book anyway, he deserves a chance for England IMO but were unfashionable as a club , and probably won’t get it if he stays with us.

cheers H,hope you and yours are all ok..Nothing like a good bit of banter mate.. Charlie was playing great and was one of our best players ,especially when going down the wing, but unfortunately he's now injured.. Don't know how long he will be out, hopefully not too long.. We have the horrible Mancs at home midweek,so looking like another defeat as they have a good record at the turf.. One never knows though maybe we can score a goal at least.lol

Good luck as always nice to beet the Mancs. They are prone to off days so maybe you will get one of those - we certainly didn’t.

Agree Charlie Taylor doesn’t get the credit he deserves - one of the best products to come out of our academy and seems pretty driven too. Hope he isn’t out for too long.
