The players also seem very comfortable in the system we have settled on, hopefully we will continue to improve.

Not sure how Oggy and Sadlier will fit into the new system though

Took notice with one of our corners, ( did we just get 2 ), all our players set up outside the 18 yard box, not one Miller player in the box. The Teeside commentators commented on this, we seem to be trying different plans of action, in dead ball situations.

Confidence and momentum is the biggest driver in sport. We seem to have more belief.
Totally agree Wan. I've also noticed a subtle change in how we are publicly commenting on the opposition. It's still respectful (which is right and proper) but no longer gushing praise and in awe of them. I honestly thing (touch wood) we are now starting to believe that we are good enough. Long may the confidence continue to rise.

For what its worth I thought the turnaround in performance started the second half vs Watford (8th Dec). That was when we seemed to come to terms with combining 3 at the back and our high pressing game.

Our performances improved and with it a degree of confidence.

Crooks has gained confidence and come into some form and works well with Smith.

    yes that could be true
Perhaps a combination of things such as getting over covid, players coming back, a new signing

    All adds momentum

Maybe all of us lot not arguing about the merits of 6-2-2 or 3-1-3-1-2 contributes a little bit too. Fans happy = players happy

For what it is worth mate I can only praise Warny and his staff for what has now turned the fortunes of the team round and we now look more like the team I knew we could be.

    UTM!
