Exactly, idiotic for whoever put plans through, vehicles do fly down there and on top of you before you know it, a few speed bumps would help to slow the ****ers down

I had to do a detour yesterday just after 2pm, on my way to Woodseats for a MOT,got to NYS, saw cop car blocking road, so went up by hospital & Whiston crossroads, to get on the parkway.
Coming back I went Whiston cross-roads , Ravenfield, dropped down into Kilnhurst to Swinton, so don't know time it re-opened.

I know the Police have to investigate these accidents, but why are the roads closed off for so long?

I know that sounds a bit callous but are we the only country that takes so much time over accident investigations?

With a death involved and blame to lay at someone’s feet, I’d want a thorough investigation completed if it was my loved one involved, no matter how long the road was closed.

Talking of serious crashes and someone dying, the piss head who killed his mate at the Brecks through drink driving, got 5 years.

Apparently he had previously been banned for two years for drink driving! In his drunken rampage he was aggressively trying to overtake another driver in a black Mercedes, a Mr Frederick Ladapo, when he lost control of the vehicle, which resulted in the death of his friend. Before anyone jumps to any conclusion, the Mr Ladapo mentioned, was not racing the drunk driver and was an innocent party in the tragic outcome.

You have to laugh at the driving ban he received from the court, Six and a half years, pathetic! Anyone who kills another person through drink driving should never be allowed to drive on the road again.

Sentence is disgraceful but why would they give the name of the driver (Ladapo in this case)of the car who they were trying to overtake?

People read what they want to see and this could cause problems
