Nice views of Sweden

Sweden is on my “to do” list.

I went to Iceland a few years ago, it must be the a r s e hole of that particular region?

Appalling food, 1970’s hotel room standards and VERY strange people, a mixture of arrogance and stupidity.

I’d expect Sweden to be worlds apart from Iceland in all aspects.

I used to be a travel rep in Mallorca and also did some DJ work in a disco pub called the Prince William! I certainly showed a number of Swedish girls the sights!

I could put up with one hours daylight if I was stuck inside with her for the other 23 hours.

I do think Swedish women are some of the most beautiful on our planet and I just adore the Swedish English accent.

A little anecdote from my 2019 trip to Sweden and Norway; there were quite a few Aussies on this railway holiday with us and one of them was sitting having breakfast with us in the hotel in Bergen. The waitress was very beautiful, classic Scandinavian, tall, blue eyes, long blond hair and a lovely figure. The Aussie says that she is the most beautiful Norwegian girl that he’s laid eyes on in the whole trip; the next time she comes over to our table with more coffee my wife starts chatting to her, her English is very good (the waitress’s, not my wife’s), my wife then asks her where she is from, the waitress replies ‘Poland’! Yes, the Aussie saw the funny side of it too!
