Can't see it myself. As weird as it may seem, we've actually had deranged posters from another club become mods on here with the sole aim of killing the board. They failed, so I can't see laddo managing it.

I know this might remind a few of the "people in glass houses" proverb, but is the board a better place for laddo being here? A year or so ago he was a poster very few on here would have heard of, now I would guess he posts more often than anyone else. Has his surge to prominence been a good thing for the board or a bad thing? I'm sure opinions will differ, as they always do.

There are a few irritating posters on this board and generally I don't go in for personal abuse, but laddo is like that last little tagnut that you can't get with the bog roll. Hangs on for hours with no real meaning making your life a misery and eventually disintegrates into the abyss leaving a nasty stain behind and soreness that lasts for weeks.

Yep, that's the way I think. Say what you want to say and challenge what you don't agree with, but stick to the rules.

Just don't try and tell others what they should or shouldn't post.

The difference is that laddo has claimed that he wants to stop petty personal arguments, while Davy hasn't.

I think the board is richer for characters like Laddo. I'd miss him if he were gone.

I personally find posters with no original thought more irritating. The ones who just latch on to an argument or just happy clap.

All posters are welcome. Really sticks in my gullet though people trying to tell others what to post to trying to make the board a 'safer place' Please get a grip, it's a messageboard. It survives on both agreement and disagreement. If not every thread would be:

Poster A - I think this
Poster B - I also think this
Poster C - I too think this, are well all in agreement?
Poster D - This messageboard is boring.

If you don't like someone's post then reply or ignore it. If I have something to say I'll post and then leave it probably even if someone comes back as don't like getting in back and forths all night. I've never seen so many petty squabbles on here since Laddo came on to try and better everyone even though they don't need it. It's not your anyone's job except Swale to tell people what they should and shouldn't post. Then after telling everyone to be nice they themselves start slagging everyone off, no wonder Elite called him out on it for being a hypocrite as that was correct.

I personally don't see the point in arguing over Ardley anymore though, he's not going anywhere till the end of the season so why concern yourself with his job security. I don't like the style of play or over relience on some players but I'm not going to get mad when we're winning games, that's all I want to do is get out of this tinpot league, we can worry about a Notts style once we're back in the land of the living.
