I don't think that changing managers now will make one iota of difference. The damage has already been done. By that I mean our inability to beat sides around us and in the lower part of the division. We have to show top six form for the rest of the season and we know that's not going to happen. It looks very much like the the three bottom clubs now will go down. The club's primary task is to sort the ownership out and to start the rebuild from there.

Basically, this season has been a complete and utter disaster. I can see very few positives from it at all. Also a minor point., let's get rid of that appalling bar code strip!

We are down anyway, sacking him now wouldn't be the right time.
He is one manager who could get us back up, just to go out on a high.
Providing he isn't sacked or doesn't walk I think he would get us up then quit the game.
Then would be the time for a new manager.
It was a lost cause before he came, Jesus wouldn't have saved us.
The squad wasn't good enough and we all knew it apart from Dowling.
It's Dowling and Lai that needs to go, any other manager daft enough to come would have the same problem.
We can't afford Musa and he's free, so if Sam goes it will be Appleton.

You are right Des! Dowling should have the good grace to resign!!! God - not Appleton or a call to Doncaster. That really would make me switch off for good!

Sam would gets up next season.
If not Paul Cooke or Eddie Howe ( think he's a smug tw@t but would do the job.
Fans wouldn't except Appleton, but has done well in all his jobs.

I can’t believe what i’m reading that he would bring us back up, do we really want him to do that? He can’t work any magic right now he won’t be able to in the championship.
We should never had let go of Megson last time he came in to step in, I for one would like him given the rest of the season to mitigate some of these shameful and shambolic performances.

Post of the day to Regis!! Completely so true!

Fat Sam has actually taken the side backwards and whilst Slav had to go - we still I feel would have accumulated more points and not been thrashed at home so often!

I don’t think Slav had to go
He was doing the best with what he had, but maybe he was a bit too stubborn sinceCovid

I’m normally confident that we can get back up, but I have no such optimism now
There’s no spine there’s no players like Brunt, Morrison et al tht will stay with us and keep pushing the team to get back up

We have a spineless load of mercenaries who couldn’t give a ****e
