Taking an interest in the Royals is a bit like following a soap, I really have no thoughts on them other than they are what they are. I do not need to read about what this Royal and that Royal has said or done as I have no wish to know what they are up to so just ignore any headline that refers to them. I would not read a book I would not enjoy so why would I read or take in a news item about them.

Like someone repeatedly says on here, if you don’t like something don’t involve yourself in it. Makes you wonder why anyone would watch the Albion at the moment.

I remember reading that Edward V111 gave up the crown because Wallace knew how to please a man s3xually. I suspect that Meghan is also probably brilliant in the king sized bed. I mean why else would Harry want to throw is life away? Ive known a few marriages that were smashed up just for s3x with someone else

I suspect most divorces are as a result of a $exual relationship, even a one night stand, outside of the marriage or what ever bonding relationship one is in. Just keeping it PC .

I am a supporter of the Monarchy. Undoubtedly too many ‘hangers on’, but essentially I believe a better option than the alternatives.
William and Kate will be fine to pick up the mantle as and when.
Harry, sadly has had his head turned. Megan knew 100% what marrying into our Royal Family entailed, particularly with the Diana tragedy.

Sadly no fan of the Royals! There’s as much compassion in Lizzy and hubby as a solid brick wall! Is it right that they live in castles and have butlers when a good proportion of the country struggle to put food on the table for the kids? What kind of message is this!!

Don’t like the Dallas charade either - Diana dropped her royal panties when anyone gave her the eye and sobbed one minute for press harassment then the next she was giving interviews in the back of the car.

Andrew is a crook who accepts back handers and is partial to Pizza Express and little girls.

Harry married an actress who has whisked him away to the US - she must be one good lay!

William supports the vile and married a stuck up nobody! Don’t know why she’s stuck up as mommy worked as a trolley dolly for BA and then ventured into party bags,

Anne spends more time with her horsey friends and dear Edward is a little boy lost.

Lizzy should retire with Grace before Phils ticker goes on the blink

Couldn't agree more Prando. The monarchy is one of the things that makes us unique and gives certain important figures (In a worldly sense) unforgetable experiences to look back on with pride. Also tons of foreign visits forging strong relations. There is nothing that compares. Megan knew EXACTLY what it entailed and I'm afraid the British press does no one any favours. It is what it is.

Can’t disagree with you at all here Boingy, our press is disgraceful. Especially the mail, who I believe have been instructed to publish an apology or correction this week regarding the Markle case.

I for one am for the monarchy, if we didn’t have it what would we have to be proud of? Whatever your views on this, it’s worth noting it’s what everyone asks about when you go abroad (not europe).

On a slightly different point, I was watching some athletics on the TV and one brit got gold and they had the anthem played.. I can’t remember the last time from a sport that was played because of the pandemic. Crazy times.

Don't take any newspaper but have judged her on how I perceive her. I could be wrong of course but I don't think I am. As I said in a previous post, how long has it taken her to get back to 'tinsel town?' Not long. Living a private and quiet life? You must be joking. Using her royal connections for gain. Definitely. Princess Diana courted publicity then complained and now Megan Markle is doing exactly the same thing.
