    Alison is a good goalkeeper but he's had the benefit of playing behind good defences. Now he's more exposed we're seeing his limitations, he'd have no chance at Burnley (a bit like Hart).

    Alison is not as great as people think. The shell suit wonder bought the wrong goalkeeper for a stupid amount of money. As for VVD, football is all about 11 players contributions, and defending starts with your own centre forward. They’ve also conceded a lot of goals from crosses, even when VVD was supposed to be the best around. Everyone connected with the Anfield club, is pinning their hopes on his return transforming the whole club’s outlook for the future. Personally I think their troubles go further than just getting him back in the team. Klopp could and should have gone big in the transfer window, and brought in quality players . He didn’t, and their poor form is purely down to him, and no one else.
