    That's always the danger . As Doyle will sit deep anyway it makes it harder to work, the central midfield have to hold the centre to give the wing backs a chance to stay in the middle with them.

    This formation i like a lot, if used correctly it can be a very dominant formation. Hopefully Ardley has done 2 key things, told the wing backs to push high, and told Enzio not to track back. I would personally have played Knowles up with Wootton though, the choice of Effiong concernes me. It does look to me as though, we will play with a low block 5 for us then to play hoofball and feed off scraps.

    It certainly lacks pace but doesn't lack height and strength so if we don't mix it and go more direct with that lineup we never will.

    Can't argue with that. They were outrun by Swindon on that fateful day and if Wolfe can't get in now what's the point in having him here.

    I have a feeling we have gone back to basics where we are more direct than normal with Enzio in a free role. The conditions are probably a factor also.
